"I feel all Holy Spirited!"

Hello Family!
Well, before I forget, transfers are this week--already! We will find out Sunday if someone is leaving and then we won't have p-day until Tuesday. Both Sis. Devenport and I feel strongly that she will leave Ravenna before I do, but we're both REALLY hoping that we're together for at least one more transfer. Guess we'll find out soon enough! But just letting you know pday will be different next week.

On the mission front, this week has been pretty good. We set a baptismal date for February 26th for a new investigator this week. His name is Jay and he is probably in his mid 40s. He is in the process of really turning his life around and he is really open to learning more. He really believes that it is true and is so excited to be learning more about the gospel, and obviously we're excited to teach him! He's a great guy.  anddd he just walked into the library and said hello. What a coinky-dink. Wonder if he knows that I'm writing about him at this moment...hmm...that's not creepy at all...

Thanks for asking about Mitchell and Tabi and Angela and Kizzy! From what the Alliance Elders have said, Angela and Kizzy are doing great! Kizzy's son is getting baptized this week so we're excited to go down there for that baptism. Angela bore her testimony at church yesterday and I hear it was great. I'm excited for them.

Mitchell is doing amazing! This week we met with him and Jason and it was our first meeting after his baptism and from the moment we walked in the door you could tell there was a difference in Mitchell. Then when we asked him how he felt he said "I feel all Holy Spirited!" haha. We asked him to describe that and he was like "I feel warm, and I'm happy all the time, and I just feel different, but in a way good different". You should have seen the smiles on our faces when he said that :) It's those moments that get you through the rough parts of your mission.

Then, on Sunday we got called out of Relief Society because Jason was ordaining Mitchell to the priesthood. That was a great experience too. Jason did a good job, and it was a great moment. We were beaming the whole time! haha I felt like a proud mother. Except Jason and Mitchell are more like my brothers (Jason is one year younger than Scott and Mitchell is almost exactly one month younger than Craig). After, we asked Mitchell again how he felt and his answer was "I feel all teacher'd!" haha what a goober.

Tabi is also doing really well! She was able to come to church yesterday, but last night she had to go to a different church service. The church was in Alliance, and she went with her boyfriend and also the Alliance elders. They were giving us text message updates throughout the service haha. Apparently halfway through the service, Tabi leaned over to Elder Kitchen and said "I'm a little creeped out right now" then got her mini Book of Mormon out of her purse and started reading it right there in front of everyone else in the church! hahaha. I love that girl. It's frustrating that she has to go through this before she is baptized, but it made me feel so good to hear that. I'm a little less anxious now.

Hmm...Not sure what else to report. It sounds like ya'll got hit with the snow a bit worse than us, although we still had to stay in for about a day or so. It was pretty snowy this week. We tracted for a long time in the snow and whenever we would go to a door that had a glass door when we could see our reflection, it was a scary sight! haha. We were just covered in snow and just drenched haha. Who wants to talk to the missionaries?! :)

Well, Dad I'm glad you had a good birthday, and Mom, I hope this week you have a good birthday! Goodness. It's a bit overwhelming to have all the family  birthdays in a 7 week period haha. Minus me, of course. But mom, I'm sure you will have a fabulous birthday in New Zealand. No worries, I'm not jealous at all.... But I do hope that you both have a very safe and amazing trip! You won't be back until the end of February? Dangg! How much school is Craig going to miss? Lucky duck.

Okay, well we're headed out now! Today's fun pday activity: touring the Goodyear Blimp! Pictures to follow, I'm sure :) Love you all!

Love,
Sister Maughan
