A bed-bound missionary is NOT a happy missionary!

Hi family!

Happy Easter! I hope you all had a fabulous Easter! Ours was pretty good. It was definitely different than an easter at home, although we did have a dinner at Kirtland. Grandma told me everyone had a get-together at the house yesterday so I bet that was a lot of fun. Tell the extended family hello from me!

Speaking of extended family, it was
crazy seeing Steve and Janna on Saturday! We were just finishing up a tour and we were all wandering around the Johnson Inn when I looked out the window and saw my cousin walking up! It was pretty funny; I suddenly just jumped up and sprinted outside, haha. It was GREAT to see them though, and it sounds like everyone is doing so well.

So this week, unfortunately was not our most effective week as missionaries...We had to stay in for most of the week. Tuesday night we were planning/praying and all of a sudden my body just crashed. It was weird. I even got completely breathless as I got on my knees to pray after personal study! That is not normal, fyi haha. So Sis. Sorensen and Dr. Mikesell made me stay in for several days. lameeee. That is not fun for a missionary. Sister Messegee (our ward mission leaders wife) did teach me how to crochet though! haha. So I am expanding my talents :) Thankfully, all that rest made me feel a lot better and I'm mostly back to normal now. I think I was just fighting some virus, so all is well! Even though we didn't have a lot of time in our area, its amazing to see how the Lord made up for it. We somehow managed to meet almost all of our weekly goals we set (except we didn't tract at all--oh darn...) and teach some awesome lessons and find some new investigators. Little miracles.

Well, I love you all! Hope you enjoy the last week of April! (How we are here already, I don't know!)

Love,
Sister Maughan
